Most people in the world seem to be sleepwalking through life, not truly living it to the fullest. You can hear it in the way they talk about “making a living”—just doing enough to keep their heads above water.
In this discussion, I want to share real tips on how one can elevate their life and reach their true potential to live a happy and fulfilling existence.
Start moving
This may sound obvious, but think about a fire: when there’s no movement—or in our case, no wind—it’s much harder to ignite.
Thoughts tend to become stuck, and it feels like gathering the energy to start something new is even harder. So, if you have an idea or a goal, make sure you take action before your energy burns out and you run out of the “oxygen” needed to ignite yourself again.
Write Down Your Ideas
Think back—have you ever had a great idea, something you thought through for a while, but when it came time to act, you lost your way? You forgot where to start, what direction you were heading. Some people carry a notebook to jot down their thoughts and ideas.
For years, that was my practice too. But in today’s world, where we all carry smartphones in our pockets, there’s no real need for a physical notepad anymore. Just download a good notes app, design it to fit your style, and make the whole experience more enjoyable and comfortable.
Start Your Day with a Positive Manner
It’s no secret—the way you start your day will affect the rest of it. Changing sleep habits isn’t easy, but before you try to change a habit, give yourself a reason to do so. Make your morning more joyful.
It can start with a song that energizes you, thinking about a fun activity you’ll do today, or even making someone else smile. Give yourself a reason to make a change. At first, you might succeed, but other times you may fail. Don’t give up on the idea—big changes start with little steps.
Being Tired from Excess Emotions
Sometimes it happens—no one likes it, but because we live in a dynamic world with its ups and downs, it can affect even those closest to us. This emotional drain can be more exhausting than a hard day’s work.
The key is knowing how to stand up after a fall and start again.
Making a relationship work can feel as hard as lifting a boulder, but it’s worth it. When your surroundings are happy, you’re happy too. But if there’s tension, it will drain all the energy you need to make good things happen, leaving you too tired to move forward. So be brave—get up and start again!
Believe in possibilities
Failures can happen to anyone—it’s part of life. The real issue isn’t the failures themselves, but how they affect our consciousness.
After trying and failing repeatedly, you can feel mentally tired, losing belief in your ability to succeed. This tiredness can spread to other activities, leaving you feeling blank and unmotivated. It can drain your energy.
The key is to rise again from the mental exhaustion and start believing in yourself.
Visualize the success you desire and know you can achieve it. This will refresh your energy and help you overcome the tiredness.
Lock Your Mind on Success
It’s not a miracle, but it can be a major factor in the main challenge: staying focused on success and believing in yourself. The real challenge often comes from your surroundings—people who hear your goals and comment on them, causing you to doubt your dreams.
That’s why it’s crucial to lock your mind on those goals. Let nobody tell you what you can or can’t achieve. Many people project their insecurities onto others in an attempt to feel smart.
My tip: respect them and their opinions, but filter the love you have for them from the doubts they project onto you about how you conduct your life.
Your energy is a crucial tool for taking steps toward your goals. If you waste it in the wrong places, you won’t have enough left to keep moving forward on your journey.
Know your place, know others, and respect your boundaries.
